Counters live on your device. There is no account to start, no analytics on what you are counting, and nothing to sell. Reminders are scheduled locally, so not even a notification leaves your phone. Sync stays optional, and comes later.

When does it launch?
The counter in the header is the real thing. iOS, Android and the web app all open the moment it hits zero.

Do I need an account?
No — in version one there is not even one to make. Everything lives on your device. Optional sign-in and cross-device sync come in a later release.
Where do I buy Plus?
Inside the iOS or Android app, through the App Store or Play. There is no web checkout; the web app explains the plans and sends you to the store.
Can I send a counter to someone?
Yes. A link opens a pre-filled counter on any platform — it never inserts anything without you tapping save. Share cards and friend pages are built and land in a later release.
What happens when a counter hits zero?
It celebrates for a day, then offers to flip into counting up — so the trip becomes “3 days since Japan”.
